This will be my 7th year riding for the cure and I'm proud to do it. The disease is still with us but I know doing nothing is not an option. The folks who must deal with this crappy disease do it 24/7/365 with no breaks. They don't want to be given special treatment and most don't even want you to know they have it but they all want to be freed from the iron grip of diabetes.

My son Matt will be riding his first century ever with me in Burlington this year. He's finishing his 10th year with diabetes and that's 10 years too long. Click the link to Matt's webpage below and you'll see why I've posted a photo of this majestic Samoyed on my page.

Each donation is counted as a blessing and I am continuing to make a ride-with-me shirt for every ride. Anyone who is interested can simply give me the name of a ride honoree, I'll add it to my shirt and proudly wear it during our 100 mile journey in the great state of Vermont!
