Katie Clark is riding on October 16, 2010 at Death Valley.
I proved I could ride 105 miles on my bike in Death Valley last year. It was by far the hardest thing I've done physically in one day. But it doesn't compare to what Ellie & I do every day.
The thoughts in my mind when I was coasting down the hill for that last mile in the 107 degree heat were of Ellie & Anna. Hoping that the money we raised will cure Ellie but also keep Anna from developing type 1 diabetes. When I finished I had tears in my eyes for my girls. Diabetes has affected my family so much and I will keep riding my bike in Death Valley until the money we raise finds the cure.
Join us in working to cure type 1 by donating what you can to support my ride efforts.
We can't do it without you.
